O'SUN® and the Belgian Champion sprinters the Borlee distributed Nomad lamps that were donated to organizations that assist underprivileged children from Mfuleni Township in Cape town-South Africa.

It's once again in Mfuleni Township situated in the region of Cape Town that we've decided together with the generous contribution of the Belgian sprinters the Borlee to help the population that are affected by the lack of electricity. For this second operation in this area we identified organizations such Power Child Campus that assist underprivileged children in their scholarship and Ikamva Labantu who help horphan children and seniors . The NOMAD lamps that were donated among the different organisations will allows + 7,000 children to have light to study and do their homework.

These project-have-been financed with money collected by the Borlee during the Acerta Brussels Ekiden race in october 2014. The smile and gratitude we got back from all Those people felt fantastic as usual. Thanks again to Olivia, Kevin, Jonathan, Dylan and Jaques for their involvement to help O'SUN to Provide a clean source of light in Africa.

All the operation had been maked possible due the great support that we received by our loacal partner Matchbox a Cape Town based non-profit organisation manage by Verena Grips aiming to improve the quality of life and learning for young children.Matchbox design and build safe, inspiring play and learning spaces, which are also ecologically sustainable and meet government requirements.
